As an Associate on our Clean Energy coverage team - spanning solar, wind, grid infrastructure, energy storage, and nuclear - you'll partner directly with top institutional investors and Wedbush's renowned sales force, generate original investment ideas with genuine market impact, and build deep sector expertise in one of the most transformative corners of the global economy. Clean energy is no longer a niche. It is a multi-trillion-dollar capital reallocation story.

From advanced nuclear small modular reactors (SMRs) to offshore wind mega-projects to the AI-driven surge in power demand, you'll be at the epicenter of one of the defining investment themes of our era. Your research will move markets. Responsibilities Track industry trends, policy shifts, technology developments, and market-moving events across the full clean energy landscape; including solar, wind, energy storage, grid infrastructure, and nuclear power Produce differentiated research reports, including initiations of coverage, leveraging SEC filings, company transcripts, AI tools, and proprietary data sources Build and maintain detailed financial models and proprietary sector databases across clean energy subsectors Execute primary research through industry contacts, channel checks, and expert networks; including utilities, developers, regulators, and technology vendors Generate and pursue original, high-conviction investment ideas on both the equity and thematic level, with a deep eye for disruptive change Develop informed views on nuclear energy; including utility-scale nuclear, advanced reactors, and SMR developers as part of a comprehensive clean energy framework Prepare compelling presentations and marketing materials for investor and internal meetings Engage directly with institutional clients and Wedbush's institutional sales force on research findings and inbound requests Perform other tasks and duties as required and assigned Experience and Skills Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; Business, Finance, Economics, or a quantitative discipline preferred 1+ years of Equity Research experience with a demonstrated track record of contributing original analysis Interest in or exposure to clean energy, power markets, utilities, or related sectors; nuclear awareness a distinct advantage Deep accounting knowledge and strong command of valuation techniques (DCF, comps, sum-of-the-parts) Critical thinking and ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable investment theses Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail Strong experience with AI tools to increase productivity Ability to perform under pressure, prioritize competing deadlines, and multi-task effectively Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership of coverage areas Genuine passion for the markets and intellectual curiosity about the energy transition Must obtain Series SIE, 86, and 87 licenses upon hire What We Offer What Wedbush Offers You As part of our overall compensation package, Wedbush Securities offers an array of diverse benefits to all our colleagues.
