Job Description

This role is on 2nd and 3rd shift:

  • 2nd shift: Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 2:00ย AM.ย 
  • 3rd shift: Friday through Sunday from 5 AM to 5 PM.ย 

The responsibilities of the Business Process Control Analyst will work alongside the Plant Department Managers and Supervisors providing operations business process leadership and business systemย expertiseย at the plant level. Coordinates and documents the movement of allmaterials in and out of the production areas with the help of theย departmentย material handlers. Works closely with both the departmentย leadsย and supervisor to ensure all materials are accounted for and transactions madeย in a timely manner.Fulfills responsibilitiesย in accordance withย the company policies and procedures.ย 

The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:ย 

PRODUCTION AND INVENTORY ANALYSISย 

  • Activelyย monitorย business processes, ensure data integrity by controlling daily, weekly, and period reporting for cost efforts, and security needs for the plantย 

  • Review business process documentation and update where necessary on a regular basisย 

  • Work closely with warehouse and operations leadership including their teams to help Identify root cause of data transaction errorsย in a timely mannerย including any remediation of errorsย 

  • Identifyย and/or suggest improvements including documenting and supporting related activitiesย 

  • Provide implementation and ongoing support of new and existing plant operations business processes including SAP & Scanner trainingย 

  • Deliverย plant business software application training at a one-on-one level, as neededย 

  • Provide On-Site leadership by initiating, monitoring, and minimizing risk mitigationย in the event ofย business system failure through adequate planningย 

PRODUCTION READINESS AND REPORTINGย 

  • Follow daily production schedule & Bill-Of-Material (BOM) list to ensure achievement of specified goalsย 

  • Manage with Procurement all raw & packaging materials to ensure availability in the correct location for on time start-upsย 

  • Complete reporting for: Write-Off including Obsolete Provisions, Cycle Counting Changes, Scrap Transactions, Line Labor Analysis, Budgeting Needs and Trial Costsย 

TRANSACTION INTEGRITYย 

  • Ensure inventory input from location-to-location movements are made accurately andย timelyย 

  • Ensure all raw & packaging materials are correctly labeled andย identifiedย for proper dispositionย 

  • Complete material cycle counting at required intervals asย determinedย by finance and managementย 

  • Control data entry of inventory transactionsย 

  • Ensure accuracy of daily paperwork before settlement of process ordersย 

GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES AND OTHERย 

  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized work/storage areasย 

  • Ensure safety devices are installed and working properlyย 

  • Adhere to company safety policies; wear andย maintainย safety equipmentย 

  • Adhereย to company personnel policiesย 

  • Follow good manufacturing practices, along with company SOP's and SSOP'sย 

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessaryย 

PRODUCTION AND CUSTOMER CONFORMANCEย 

  • Coordinate with floor leads and supervisors for the training of all team members on use of BOM'sย 

  • Ensure product conforms to customers'ย specificationย 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:ย 

  • High school diploma or equivalentย 
  • 1 + years of experience working within a manufacturing environment.ย 
  • 1 + years of experience working with and transacting within the ERP system of SAP or equivalent.ย 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word; experience working with graphicsย 
  • Data entry experienceย 
  • 2 + years of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) experienceย 
  • Ability to analyze data/inventory.ย 
  • Ability to multi-task in a challenging environmentย 
  • Specific attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.ย 
  • Demonstrated initiative-taking style ensures theย timelyย completion of projects despite obstacles.ย 
  • Activelyย seekย toย utilizeย a "Collaborative Team Approach" in all situations.ย 
  • Strong written and verbal communicationย skills;ย must work effectively with all levels of leadership and team members.ย 
  • Ableย to read and write legibly.ย 
  • Able to communicate effectively and train team members as needed

Preferred Qualifications:ย 

  • 2 years or more ERP including SAP experience.ย 
  • Experience working with Bill of Materials and Cycle Countingย 
Additional Information

The starting rate for this role is $18.58 - $25.54 (Hourly). Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link's Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards. The work environment is a plant/office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet/slippery floors. However, the vast amount of work is conducted in a climate-controlled office. Travel may be required.
