Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance Technician:
  • Provides unscheduled repairs and preventative maintenance of equipment.
  • Performs mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
  • Reads and interprets equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Maintains facilities.
  • Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Complies with OSHA Safety and health rules.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance, preferably in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Must have electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic experience.
  • Must have forklift experience, both to drive and to do basic repairs.
  • Must have basic hand tools used to perform duties.
  • Previous PLC Experience is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good attendance.
  • Ability to take instruction and work independently.

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND AND A DRUG SCREEN AS WELL AS A WRITTEN BASIC SKILLS MAINTENANCE TEST.


Uniforms are provided by the company after 90 days of employment.
