The Opportunity

You will serve as a vital, hands-on field professional designed for a motivated, detail-oriented carpenter who wants to grow into a leadership position. Working directly alongside our experienced Project Foremen, you will assist in executing premier residential remodels. This role allows you to learn a proven production process from the ground up and advance your career into construction management with a respected, organized, and growing company that deeply values your work-life balance.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Assist the Project Foreman with all phases of residential remodeling, including demolition, rough framing, cabinet installation, siding, J-channel, and finish trim carpentry.
  • Execute precise structural cuts and general construction tasks in strict accordance with project prints, specifications, and client selections.
  • Maintain an immaculate, safe, and highly organized jobsite daily, enforcing strict dust management, floor protection, and thorough end-of-day cleanups.
  • Proactively anticipate the required tools, fasteners, and materials needed for daily production phases to maximize jobsite efficiency.
  • Support the Foreman in coordinating, monitoring, and verifying on-site trade partners and material deliveries.
  • Log daily progress updates and report tool or material shortages to the Foreman immediately to maintain a "no-surprises" policy and avoid delays.
  • Act as a trustworthy primary field representative by maintaining polite, professional interactions with clients to protect the company brand.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience specifically within the residential construction or remodeling fields (framing, trim carpentry, or general remodeling preferred).
  • Proven ability to accurately read structural tape measures, interpret basic design layouts, and understand residential building materials.
  • Must possess standard personal hand tools and framing/trim pouches (specialized power tools provided).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills necessary for managing daily field documentation and client interactions.
  • Reliability to execute strenuous physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, navigating tight crawlspaces/attics, and standing for 8-hour shifts.
  • Must possess reliable personal transportation to commute to the office, along with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in supervising or coordinating third-party trade partners (subcontractors) on a residential jobsite.
  • Completion of a formal carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent residential technical training.
  • Advanced layout knowledge across multiple remodeling disciplines, including complex structural additions and custom kitchen/bath built-ins.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive hourly pay cycle with consistent full-time, year-round work schedules.
  • Access to annual company profit-sharing opportunities.
  • Comprehensive health insurance plan fully provided by the company.
  • Available dental and vision insurance options.
  • Robust paid time off package including paid vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay.
  • Company work van and company fuel card / mileage reimbursement program provided for service area travel.
  • All specialized power tools and essential safety equipment provided.
  • A clear, defined professional path for career advancement to become a Lead Project Foreman.
