JOB DESCRIPTION:
Quadrus Corporation is seeking a skilled Maintenance worker to perform maintenance tasks such as repairs, cleaning and lawncare. The maintenance position is responsible for applying basic fixes/minor repairs to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail is essential in this job, as the ideal candidate will have significant work experience and solid technical knowledge. You should have the manual dexterity and physical stamina necessary for this work.
JOB DUTIES:
  • Inspect and upkeep the buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Inspect and report building issues (damaged equipment, safety hazards)
  • Handles necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Installs equipment and appliances.
  • Comply with all company safety regulations.
  • Keeps a maintenance logs.
  • Reports any issues to the maintenance manager.
  • Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion.
  • Loads and unloads equipment and tools into work vehicles if needed.
  • Follows written and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager.
  • Collaborates with the maintenance team and contractors as needed.
  • Reads and follows manuals, blueprints, and other written instructions.
  • Use equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.
  • Operate a forklift.
  • Mow, edge, and trim lawns and gardens
  • Remove weeds, leaves, and debris
  • Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides
  • Maintain and repair lawn care equipment
  • Manage inventory of cleaning materials and supplies
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in assigned areas.
  • Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms to meet hygiene standards.
  • Perform deep cleaning (windows, carpets, polishing floors) as scheduled.
  • Empty trash bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste

DESIRED SKILLS:
  • Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
  • Communicate effectively.
  • Collaborate with maintenance managers and contractors.
  • Attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
  • Time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Physical stamina to lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A certification in building maintenance is a plus.
  • Must have a driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

One year of building maintenance, construction, plumbing, or electrician experience is strongly preferred, but not required
