Job description

Position Title: Maintenance
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
We are looking for a reliable, skilled maintenance worker to perform essential upkeep tasks throughout our dealership. There is a wide variety of tasks to be done from repairs and cleaning.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, hard-working, detail oriented, significant handy-man experience and the physical stamina necessary for this work.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
Qualifications:
Able and willing to work flexible hours. Able to receive and follow directions. At least 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or equivalent. Must have reliable transportation. Ability to manage your time efficiently. Work well when supervisors are not present. Ability to lift at least 25 pounds. Handle basic maintenance, cleaning and other janitorial work. Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies. Able to use basic cleaning equipment.
Duties:
  • Complete regular maintenance tasks
  • Maintains the cleanliness of outside spaces such as parking lots and sidewalks
  • Perform repairs on company machinery, equipment or appliances
  • Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician, also overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary
  • Perform routine maintenance on building systems, which can include plumbing work, painting, flooring repair, electrical repairs, and heating and air conditioning system maintenance
  • Report to the General Manager any issues needing attention
  • Responsible for maintaining company grounds/ facility, as well as maintaining the equipment to do the job.
