About the Role:
Straight Line Customs Inc is looking for a passionate and skilled Classic Car Auto Mechanic to join our team in Prior Lake, MN. If you live and breathe classic cars and take pride in bringing vintage machines back to their former glory, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for. Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, repair, and restore classic and vintage vehicles to factory or custom specifications
  • Perform engine upgrades, tune-ups, and mechanical overhauls on antique and classic automobiles
  • Inspect and repair classic car brake systems, suspension, steering, and drivetrain components
  • Fabricate or source hard-to-find parts for vintage vehicle restoration projects
  • Collaborate with customers to understand restoration goals and provide expert mechanical recommendations
  • Document repair and restoration work accurately, including parts used and labor performed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an auto mechanic, with a strong focus on classic or vintage vehicle restoration
  • Deep knowledge of older mechanical systems, carburetors, points ignition, and period-correct components
