Job description

GENERAL PURPOSE

This position is responsible for delivering and picking up customer linen in a timely and professional manner within assigned routes utilizing delivery vehicles like box trucks and/or cargo vans.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate company-assigned box trucks or cargo vans along designated or alternate delivery routes
  • Deliver and collect linen carts (metros) on time and obtain signed delivery tickets
  • Reconcile delivery and pickup loads to ensure accuracy
  • Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly
  • Keep delivery vehicle clean, disinfected, and refueled at the end of each shift
  • Comply with all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies
  • Communicate route updates or customer concerns to the Logistics Manager
  • Maintain professional appearance in company-provided uniform and deliver courteous customer service
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Frequent loading/unloading of linen carts

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid CDL Class B license and current DOT medical card
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant driving experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally
  • Must be highly punctual, deadline-driven, and self-motivated
