General Function
The maintenance helper assists full time technicians, performing entry-level maintenance, repairs, and cleaning to ensure facility or equipment functionality. Key duties include cleaning workspaces, hauling materials, replacing light bulbs, basic painting, and assisting with plumbing or electrical fixes. This role requires physical stamina, hand tools, and following safety protocols.
Description of Primary Duties
Providing tools, materials, and support to maintenance technicians and mechanics during installations or repairs. Maintaining a clean work environment, cleaning tools and machinery, and removing debris. Performs basic building maintenance, such as patching walls, painting, replacing light bulbs, and clearing drains. Assisting with repair or replacement of exterior building lights. Assist with HVAC repairs on rooftops or equipment yards. Assisting with inventory control, restocking supplies, and keeping tools organized.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and building maintenance procedures.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Ability to lift heavy items, work on ladders, and stand for long periods.
Proven general maintenance experience.

This will be a part time summer position from May 1 - August 31st 2026.
Hours will typically fall between 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday - Friday.
