Job description

The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering finished goods to our customers. As a Delivery Driver your job is crucial to the success of our business because you are the face of our organization. To accomplish these tasks, the Delivery Driver works closely with the Operations Manager, CCEXP Supervisor, Staff, and Customers.
DAILY DUTIES:
  1. Ensures that all activities conform to CCEXP policies and procedures.
  2. Communicate effectively and appropriately with all staff members.
  3. React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned and remains flexible in daily routine.
  4. Support the mission statement of CCEXP.
  5. Give fast, friendly customer service.
  6. Keep the delivery vehicle clean.
  7. Attend team meetings.
  8. Finalize vehicle weekly inspection paperwork.
  9. Adhere to and perform duties as defined in the Delivery Driver Job description if applicable.
  10. Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or CCEXP Supervisor.

Work Activities
  • Picking up orders for delivery from CCEXP and organizing it for delivery
  • Delivering Goods in allowed time
  • Inspecting CCEXP Displays in the stores and reporting anything out of place or that looks fantastic to Operations Manager (missing tags, food quality, dirty cooler, etc.)
  • Keeping a Clean Delivery Vehicle. Inside is free of debris, outside is clean, general maintenance is kept up.

General Activities
  • Properly filling out the Daily Records
  • Intraoffice courier
  • Working your scheduled hours

Requirements
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
  1. Obtain Class E Driver's License endorsement
  2. Requires prolonged standing and sitting.
  3. Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift over 50 lbs., carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials.
  4. Occasional stooping, bending, reaching and climbing ladders or step stools.
  5. Requires travel in company vehicle.

Salary Description
