Job description

Come join Bridgeway for a rewarding opportunity!
This position's primary function is a Productionist with the responsibility for the completion of production tasks in the Macomb Work Center to include Production, Ursa Major Stencils, Secure Document Destruction services, and other production-related tasks. The secondary function is a Class C Driver to drive the company box truck approximately 5% of the time. Drive time is at a higher rate of pay.
To learn more about this position, please read a summarized list of duties below:
-Work in contract areas as assigned to ensure that production is completed, including counting, assembling packing, sealing and material handling.
-Responsible for setting a pace to be maintained by the production line. Also responsible for recognizing situations that require the involvement of a supervisor.
-A Class C license is required within the first 30 days of employment in order to drive the company box truck. Employee must meet all ongoing requirements to maintain Class C license. Initial Class C driving requirements will account for approximately 5% of work time and may include occasional trips to our other locations, including Loves Park, Bloomington, Galesburg, etc. Training will be completed on company time, and the cost of the license will be paid by Bridgeway for the duration of employment. Higher rate of pay will be paid during Class C training and while driving the box truck.
-Obtain forklift certification. Training and certification will be provided by Bridgeway.
-Operate other company vehicles, including company pick-up trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
-Conduct inventories under the direction of the Production Manager.
-Act as a positive role model for consumer trainees. Promote and maintain positive relationships with community contractors.
High school diploma or GED is preferred, no prior experience or training required. Must be able to obtain a Class C license is which is required within the first 30 days of employment. The ability to drive routes and operate a fork-lift is a plus. Must have reliable transportation. Employment with Bridgeway is conditional upon completion of all background checks.
