Job description

Class B Truck Driver & Warehouse Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified, dependable Class B Truck Driver with hazmat endorsement to join our delivery and warehouse team. We prefer candidates who have at least two years of truck driving experience. Our drivers must always drive safely and be professional and courteous when talking with our customers.


Position Requirements and Competency

  • Valid U.S. Class B commercial driver's license required
  • Insurable driving record
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Hazmat endorsement required orwilling to obtain within the first 60 days of employment.
  • Read and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving material.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Essential Function

  • Loading goods from the warehouse into your truck, transporting the load to the customer’s location, and unloading the shipment when you arrive.
  • Operate a moffett (truck mounted forklift)
  • Operate a forklift (powered industrial truck)
  • Make pick-ups as necessary.
  • Performs general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed.
  • Check in and put away material, verifying quantities and quality of received material. Maintain clear isles and walkways.
  • Ensure the material is properly organized.
  • May be required to drive a non-commercial vehicle
  • Performs all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a well-organized warehouse, ensuring all merchandise is properly stored and its location is accurately known.
  • Must be able to lift-up-to 100 lbs. Move product as much as 100 yards.
  • Assist in maintaining the appearance of the branch, clean warehouse, counter area, bathrooms, outside parking lot, yard, etc.
  • Perform additional tasks as required and/or assigned.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Based on branch location, work hours are subject to change. Must be flexible to work additional hours, evenings, weekends, and Saturdays during peak season.


Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
