What is a Class B route driver?

Class B Route Drivers are professional drivers who operate vehicles that require a Class B commercial driver's license (CDL), such as box trucks or dump trucks, to deliver goods or services along a specific route. They are responsible for safely transporting products, loading and unloading cargo, and ensuring timely deliveries to multiple locations. In addition to driving, they often interact with customers, handle paperwork, and perform vehicle inspections to maintain safety and compliance.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be a Class B route driver?

To thrive as a Class B Route Driver, you need a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), a clean driving record, and knowledge of DOT regulations.
