About A&A Food Service

A&A Food Service is a wholesale food service distributor serving restaurants throughout Southern California. We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Class B Bobtail Delivery Driver to join our team.

This position is responsible for delivering food products to customers while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest safety standards. The route consists of two overnight trips to Bishop each week.

Schedule:

This position follows a 4-day work week with overnight routes.

Monday: Depart for Mammoth Lakes, with an overnight stay in Bishop

Tuesday: Complete deliveries in Mammoth Lakes and return to Upland

Thursday: Depart for Mammoth Lakes, with an overnight stay in Bishop

Friday: Complete deliveries in Mammoth Lakes and return to Upland

Delivery days may change during holiday weeks based on customer schedules.

Responsibilities

*Accurately pull products for assigned routes and deliver customer orders safely and on time.

*Safely operate a Class B refrigerated bobtail truck while complying with all DOT and company safety regulations.

*Complete scheduled overnight delivery routes to Bishop twice each week.

*Load, unload, move pallets, and handle products safely.

*Provide outstanding customer service and maintain professional relationships with customers.

*Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.

*Accurately complete delivery paperwork and route documentation.

*Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

*Work in refrigerated and freezer environments as required.

*Represent A&A Food Service professionally at all times.


Requirements

*Valid Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL).

*Minimum 12 years of commercial driving experience operating Class B bobtail or box trucks.

*Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.

*Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

*Strong customer service skills.

*Food service delivery experience preferred, but not required.

*Team-oriented with a strong commitment to safety.

*Positive attitude and excellent work ethic.

*Consistent attendance and reliability.

*Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.

*Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

*Must be willing and able to stay overnight in Bishop twice per week as part of the regular schedule.

*Must live within 45 minutes of our Upland facility.

*Stable employment history, with previous positions held for at least 2 consecutive years, is preferred.

*Ability to regularly lift and move 70 lbs.

*Comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments.
