Job Title: Class B Delivery Driver (Local Delivery)
Location: Des Moines, IA

Our drivers touch fright! As a Delivery Driver, you are the team member that our customers interact with the most. Providing exceptional customer service is a key part of this role and is essential in maintaining our commitment to customer service. You will interact with customers professionally, ensuring a positive delivery experience and addressing any questions or concerns. Duties include checking orders for accuracy, inspecting product for damage, and keeping accurate records of deliveries.
Pay: Depends on CDL type
  • Class B: $20
What we look for:
  • Valid interstate eligible driver's license, 21+ or older
  • Ability to work early morning hours (2 AM - 4 AM depending on the route)
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Pass a background check (including sex offender registry)
  • Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen
  • Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query
  • Must be able to read and write in English
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders
  • Must be comfortable driving a straight truck
What you'll do:
  • SAFETY FIRST. Must be able to safely operate vehicles at all times and follow all safety guidelines
  • Must be comfortable driving and unloading in varying weather conditions
  • Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner
  • Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally
