This is an intense, 17 day course designed to help dedicated, compassionate people succeed in completing the Nurse Aide Training program.
Cost: FREE!!!!

Week one and two of class will be at NHC HealthCare Training Center at 210 Memorial Drive Bristol, TN 37620 Hours will be Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Week three (clinical) will be at NHC HealthCare Johnson City 3209 Bristol Hwy Johnson City, TN 37601 Hours will be Monday - Friday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Employment opportunities may be available upon successful completion of the course.
We will run a criminal background check as well as consult the Tennessee and/or National Abuse Registry for Children and Adults. No one with a felony conviction, certain misdemeanor charges, and/or found on the abuse registry can be admitted to the class.
Since the class is only 17 days, no absences or tardies are permitted. You must maintain a grade average of an 85 to successfully complete this course, homework involved.
Student Responsibility Purchases
  • Two uniforms (Scrubs Dark Grey Scrub Bottoms and Burgundy Scrub Tops) will need to be purchased for the class by (clinical, week three)
  • Clean Athletic shoes or nursing shoes
  • A wrist watch with a second hand
  • A foldout cardboard presentation board (found in poster board section)
  • Black pens, pencils, notebook and highlighters

You can wear modest street clothes to class (no shorts, sleeveless shirts or halter tops, please). No facial piercings are to be worn to class except for earrings by female students. Uniform will be required for clinical rotation.
