Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver for a regional split-load overnight delivery route based out of Palmdale, CA. This position requires drivers to remain on-site for 3–4 consecutive days while completing structured overnight delivery runs under split sleeper berth regulations.

Drivers will complete two delivery loads per shift cycle with scheduled off-duty periods between runs. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers who are comfortable with overnight operations and Hours of Service compliance.

Schedule & Route Details

Typical Shift Cycle

1st Load

  • Dispatch: 4:00 PM
  • Return to Yard: Approximately 10:00 PM
  • Estimated Drive Time: 6 hours

Off-Duty Break

  • 2–3 hours depending on operational needs

2nd Load

  • Dispatch: Approximately 1:00 AM
  • Return to Yard: Approximately 6:00 AM
  • Estimated Drive Time: 6 hours

Total On-Clock Time

  • Up to 14 hours per cycle

Post-Route Rest Period

  • Mandatory layover/rest period required following route completion

Split Sleeper Berth Requirements

This position operates under FMCSA split sleeper berth regulations (8/2 or 7/3 split).

  • A 2-hour off-duty period requires 8 consecutive sleeper berth hours
  • A 3-hour off-duty period requires 7 consecutive sleeper berth hours

Drivers must accurately maintain all duty statuses and remain compliant with FMCSA Hours of Service regulations.

  • Safely operate a CDL Class A commercial vehicle on scheduled regional routes
  • Complete two delivery runs per shift cycle
  • Accurately log driving, on-duty, off-duty, and sleeper berth time
