CDL Class A Driver (1099)

Job Summary

BMF Trucking is hiring a full-time Class A CDL Driver to join our growing team. We operate under Schneider and Gulf Winds authority and offer dedicated freight with consistent work, weekly pay, and home daily opportunities.

Job Details

  • Full-time (1099)
  • Dedicated Walmart and Amazon lanes
  • Home Daily
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • Regional routes also available
  • Based out of Norfolk, VA
  • Weekly pay starting at $1,000+
  • No-touch freight
  • No forced dispatch
  • Optional Saturday work available
  • Typical shifts are 8-10 hours

Equipment

  • 2020 or newer Freightliner, Volvo, and Mack trucks
  • Automatic and 10-speed manual transmissions available
  • Day cabs (Schneider)
  • Freightliner sleeper trucks available for Gulf Winds routes

Training

Schneider

  • Two-day paid orientation ($200)
  • Hotel accommodations and lunch provided

Gulf Winds

  • Convenient online orientation completed from home

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience
  • TWIC Card required
  • Clean driving record (0 points)
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to pass a urinalysis and hair follicle drug screening
  • Current 3-year Certified MVR
  • Ability to perform a pre-trip inspection before each shift
  • Must be able to drive safely in various weather conditions
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and self-motivated

Drivers must complete the required application through Schneider or Gulf Winds before employment.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,300.00 per week

Work Location: In person
