What is a Class A CDL team driver?

Class A CDL Team Drivers are professional truck drivers who hold a Class A Commercial Driver’s License and work in pairs to transport freight over long distances. Team driving allows for longer hauls with fewer stops since one driver can rest while the other is behind the wheel, increasing efficiency and delivery speed. These drivers are often employed by trucking companies that require consistent and expedited delivery schedules, particularly for time-sensitive or high-value loads.
