Position Overview
As a Power Engineer, you will develop highly reliable board-mounted power (BMP) solutions for data center technologies and will be responsible for all design aspects of the BMP solution. Your role will focus on enhancing the performance and reliability of power systems used in cutting-edge data center environments, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive power supply solutions including voltage regulation, power conversion, and distribution.
  • Design DC-DC converters, AC-DC modules, linear regulators, and power management circuits.
  • Utilize simulation tools such as H-spice or LTspice to model circuit performance.
  • Collaborate with PCB layout engineers to ensure optimal placement and routing of power components.
  • Implement best practices for minimizing noise, EMI, and crosstalk.
  • Work with suppliers to select and procure reliable components for power regulation and conversion, such as FETs, capacitors, inductors, diodes, and integrated circuits.
  • Develop and execute test plans and procedures to validate efficiency, transient response, ripple, noise, and thermal performance under various operating conditions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in power design, preferably in high-power systems.
  • Proficient in schematic capture and CAD layout review tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of the latest power technologies.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and resolving issues in BMP systems.
  • Proficiency with stability analyzers, oscilloscopes, function generators, and electronic loads.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
