Becoming a Class 1 driving instructor typically requires completing a relevant driver training qualification, gaining experience as a professional driver, and obtaining instructor certification, which can take several months to over a year depending on training schedules and certification requirements. The process involves passing theory and practical assessments, and often includes ongoing professional development.

Is there still a demand for class 1 driving instructors?

Demand for Class 1 driving instructors remains steady in regions with ongoing commercial vehicle training needs, especially as logistics and freight industries grow.
