Job Summary:

The dump truck driver owner-operator for Pile 'Em Up Hauling Service is a highly appreciated member of the team! As an elite member of our team, you would utilize your owner-operator status to focus solely on hauling materials without having to search for work!

Location:

Greater Mecklenburg County and surrounding areas

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to operate a dump truck and pick up materials from various jobs
  • Follow specific routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance checks
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating dump truck
  • Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules
  • Follow company safety procedures to ensure safe delivery of materials

Qualifications:

  • Owner-operator of your own dump truck
  • Valid and current vehicle insurance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) class A or B with a clean driving record
  • Experience operating dump trucks (at least 2 years' experience)
  • Knowledge of construction site safety and road safety regulations
  • Great time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Successfully pass the DOT physical, drug screen, and background check

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Night shift
  • Weekend shift
