CDL A Truck Driver – Crane Operator

We are seeking a CDL A Truck Driver – Crane Operator to haul precast concrete structures and related products to customer sites or job locations in the local area using company owned fleet equipment. A successful candidate will be responsible for:

· Performing all required safety checks (i.e. pre/post trip) including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations and insure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed. Reports all safety issues and/or repairs needed.

· Follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.

· Performs check of items loaded against customer delivery documents before departure.

· Drives to and delivers customer orders according to delivery instructions and unloads product in customer designated areas.

· Verifies delivery of items with customer and obtains proper signatures.

· Communicates with dispatch and yard personnel timely.

· Maintains accurate logs and documentation for their activities.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Candidates Requirements:

· Valid Class A CDL with 2 + years work experience handling tractor-trailers in all weather situations

· Current DOT physical card

· Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

· Crane Certification

· Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in accordance with FMCSA.

· Must pass a ride-along road test.

· Spanish language helpful

Our customers are contractors and municipalities with sales ranging from $10-15M. Current ownership is in its eighth year, but the business has been around more than 30 years.

Position Offers

· Pay range: $28.00-$32.00/Hr, with Overtime eligible over 40 hours.
