Job description

USD $5,500.00 - USD $6,500.00 /Yr.

The Department of Arts, Culture & Technology at Clarkson University seeks adjunct instructors for the Clarkson Seminar a 3 credit critical thinking and writing course for first year students. This is an interdisciplinary course focused on exploring big themes from multiple perspectives. Each instructor develops their own themes and chooses their own readings.

About the ACT Department:

The Department of Arts, Culture, and Technology (ACT) is an interdisciplinary department that cuts across the arts, humanities, and social sciences. The department offers minors and courses in fields including history, political science, literature, sociology, anthropology, philosophy, communications, digital arts, and more. Nearly every Clarkson undergraduate takes Common Experience and elective courses with the ACT Department.


Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree

Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching in higher education.
