What is a Clarity consultant?

Clarity jobs typically refer to roles related to Microsoft Clarity, a free analytics tool used to track website user behavior through session recordings, heatmaps, and insights. Professionals in Clarity jobs often work in web analytics, UX/UI analysis, or digital marketing to help organizations understand how users interact with their websites. These roles involve setting up Clarity tracking, analyzing user data, and recommending improvements based on the insights gathered. Familiarity with web development, data analysis, and user experience principles is often required.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a Clarity consultant?

To thrive as a Clarity Consultant, you need a deep understanding of project management concepts, experience with CA Clarity PPM (now Broadcom Clarity), and a relevant bachelor's degree—often in IT, business, or a related field. Hands-on expertise with Clarity PPM software, data integration tools, and certifications like PMP or Clarity-specific credentials are typically required. Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills help consultants translate business needs into effective technical solutions. These abilities are essential for optimizing project portfolio management, ensuring data accuracy, and driving successful project outcomes.

How does a Clarity consultant collaborate with project teams to ensure successful software implementation?

As a Clarity consultant, you will work closely with cross-functional teams—including project managers, IT staff, and end users—to gather requirements, configure the Clarity PPM software, and provide training. Collaboration often involves leading workshops, troubleshooting technical issues, and adapting configurations to meet each organization's project management needs. Effective communication and stakeholder management are essential, as you'll need to translate technical features into practical solutions that drive project success. This role offers exposure to a variety of industries and project environments, supporting professional growth and expertise in enterprise project management solutions.

  2. Develop high-quality, clear written responses and summaries that reflect the nuanced styles and standards of federal and military reporting practices.
  3. Evaluate and grade sample project submissions, utilizing detailed grading guidelines to assess clarity, accuracy, compliance, and adherence to reporting conventions.
  4. Contribute input artifacts and golden reference responses for a variety of status, activity, and compliance report types often used across federal agencies and military branches.
  5. Support the creation of guidelines, criteria, and evaluative rubrics for training AI models in federal report generation and staff writing.
  6. Consult on task design and requirements, lending insights from specialized reporting experience to improve project outputs.
  7. Participate in feedback cycles to ensure deliverables consistently meet evolving project and client standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Prior experience as a federal professional in the US Department of War/Defense, with a minimum of 3 years engaged in federal reporting or staff writing functions.
  2. Demonstrated expertise producing templated reports, such as WARs, MARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, executive summaries, and similar documents.
  3. Background with one or more branches of the US military; a diverse range of experiences across branches and positions is especially valued.
  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to clarity, tone, and compliance with federal style guides.
  5. Experience using Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) in producing official reports, memos, and presentations.
  6. Ability to articulate reporting methodology and provide feedback for training and assessment purposes.
  7. Based in the United States with a proven track record of confidential and compliant report handling in a federal or military context.
