Contract Coordinator – Construction Services - Up to 50% travel


About the Role


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Coordinator to support construction and capital projects across multiple business units. This role serves as a key partner to project teams, Supply Chain Management, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning and bidding through contract administration and project closeout.


The ideal candidate will bring experience in construction contract management, contractor engagement, bid package development, and stakeholder coordination. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to large-scale, complex construction projects within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities


Contract Planning & Procurement Support


  • Support the development of contract strategies during project planning phases.
  • Assist with contractor identification, prequalification, and evaluation activities.
  • Coordinate bidder lists and approval workflows.
  • Develop and assemble bid and inquiry packages, including:
  • Scope of Work documents
  • Proposal forms
  • Pricing schedules
  • Special Conditions
  • Supporting attachments


Bid Management & Contract Award


  • Coordinate the review and release of inquiry packages.
  • Support pre-bid meetings, including agenda preparation, presentations, and follow-up activities.
  • Administer bidder questions and responses during solicitation periods.
  • Prepare bid evaluation and analysis documentation.
  • Facilitate contractor call-back meetings and maintain meeting documentation.
  • Develop award recommendations and support contract approval processes.
  • Oversee final contract document reviews prior to execution.


Contract Administration


  • Partner with project teams and Supply Chain Management to provide ongoing contract support.
  • Assist in managing contract changes, change orders, and claims resolution.
  • Support project closeout activities and contract compliance requirements.
  • Participate in post-award and bidder feedback meetings.


Education & Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Science, Business, Law, or related field.
  • Experience supporting large and complex construction projects.
  • Experience in construction contract management and/or subcontract administration.
  • Heavy industrial construction experience.
  • Experience developing construction bid packages and evaluating contractor proposals.
  • Experience leading projects or coordinating cross-functional teams.
