Claims Representative

  • Location: Austin, TX | Hybrid After Training (2 days onsite per week)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM
  • Pay: $21/hr

Addison Group is partnering with a growing insurance administration organization to identify a detail-oriented Claims Representative to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys investigative work, document review, and supporting the claims process from start to finish.

This position begins with comprehensive training to learn the company's vehicle warranty claims systems, processes, and documentation requirements. Successful candidates will start in a support capacity before transitioning into a specialized claims department.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls from customers, dealerships, and other parties involved in the claims process
  • Make outbound calls to dealerships and customers to obtain documentation and information needed to process claims
  • Follow up on missing paperwork and supporting claim documentation
  • Review claim files for accuracy and completeness
  • Process and update claims within internal systems
  • Move claims through the appropriate stages of review and approval
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all communications and claim activity
  • Provide excellent customer service while adhering to company guidelines and procedures
  • Support various claims departments as needed during training and onboarding

Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of customer service experience
  • Experience in insurance, banking, automotive dealerships, or claims processing is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
