Qualifications
  • Prior experience with plan building and a health plan claims system (required for remote work)
  • Ability to troubleshoot claim processing issues
  • Experience in auditing plan designs and reporting system errors
  • Strong writing skills with proper grammar and structure
  • Knowledge of ACA and ability to stay current on regulatory updates
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple internal departments

Experience with plan building and claims adjudication systems, proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with ACA, strong math, organizational skills, and attention to detail are preferred.

Your Day-to-Day as a Benefits Plan Configuration Specialist

This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with available overtime and an optional remote arrangement.

As our Benefits Plan Configuration Specialist, you'll spend your day configuring and maintaining benefit plan structures within the WLT adjudication system. You'll set up new groups, coordinate vendor connections, load PPO fee schedules, calculate DRG pricing, and implement updates for existing clients. When claim issues appear, you'll jump in as the technical problem-solver, working closely with internal teams to interpret client intent and ensure every plan functions exactly as expected, accurately, efficiently, and compliantly.
