Phillips Structures is a proud Alberta-based company specializing in self-framing and cladding metal building construction throughout Calgary and across Western Canada since 2008. We take pride in delivering quality steel structures built to last — safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail. We currently have projects ongoing in Calgary, Prince Rupert BC, Christina Lakes AB, with a couple others starting up in Northern Alberta.

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor / Lead Hand to oversee daily job site operations, manage crews, and ensure projects are completed on time and to our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities
  • Lead, train, and motivate crew members
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and schedule standards
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower
  • Maintain daily site reports and communicate with management
  • Work hands-on alongside the crew when required

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in metal building or cladding construction
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of self-framing metal building systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to travel and work on out-of-town projects
