Job Description:
Skilled Installer Supervisor
Salary: $30/hr
As Kevcon Construction continues to grow, we are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and experienced individual to play a key role in both leading team members and completing high-quality exterior installations on residential and commercial projects. The Lead Installer is responsible for supporting project flow, guiding installers on site, and ensuring the installation of exterior materials is completed with quality, efficiency, and care.
This is a working supervisor position, meaning the Lead Installer is expected to actively participate in daily installation work while also helping direct the team, maintain production, uphold safety standards, and ensure the job site remains clean, organized, and professional. This position also supports mentorship and training of junior team members, helping to uphold Kevcon’s high standards of workmanship, teamwork, and accountability.
Responsibilities include:
  • Lead team members on site while actively participating in daily installation tasks and project production.
  • Install exterior cladding systems including siding, soffit, fascia, eavestrough, roofing, and related components.
  • Read and interpret work orders, project details, measurements, and installation requirements to ensure precision in every installation.
  • Help organize daily tasks, assign work where needed, and keep projects moving according to timelines and quality expectations.
  • Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and job site equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist in preparing job sites, unloading materials, staging work areas, and ensuring the site remains clean, safe, and organized.
  • Work collaboratively with management, team members, and other installers to support project progress and problem resolution.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship at every stage of the project.
  • Mentor, train, and support junior team members while helping reinforce proper installation practices and Kevcon standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress, material needs, site concerns, and any issues that may impact production.
  • Adhere to Kevcon’s safety protocols and ensure hazards, incidents, or concerns are reported immediately.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work culture built on communication, teamwork, accountability, and leading by example.
