Many pilots work a rotation system (such as 7 days on/7 days off or 15 on/13 off) but can expect irregular hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on client needs. You’ll often fly to a variety of destinations, sometimes with overnight stays, and be responsible for preflight planning, weather briefings, coordinating with ground crews, and passenger service throughout each trip. Flexibility and responsiveness are key since flight itineraries and schedules can change with short notice.
