Job description

MissionHires is seeking a full-time Civil/Structural Engineer to design, manage, and lead industrial projects (e.g., gas plants, refineries) within our Engineering department. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will perform detailed structural design, review deliverables, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and drive projects to completion on time and on budget while upholding core values of integrity, honesty, teamwork, and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned projects and associated tasks from planning through delivery
  • Perform detailed civil/structural engineering designs, calculations, and analyses
  • Design concrete foundations and structural steel systems for industrial facilities
  • Check and review drawings, calculations, and technical documents produced by the team
  • Coordinate with engineers, designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to execute projects
  • Provide technical reports, documentation, and project status updates
  • Make independent, significant technical and project decisions
  • Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality expectations
  • Uphold engineering core values: integrity, honesty, teamwork, and quality
