Civil Structural Designer

Looking for a 15-year Sr. Designer, candidate will be Contract to direct.

Civil/Structural Designer candidate:

  • Self-motivated and can perform key tasks with little supervision and a high degree of accuracy
  • This is a remote position, therefore aggressive and effective communication skills with the Civil/Structural group and other disciplines is required utilizing primarily Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to quickly integrate with a lean Civil/Structural engineering and design group with multiple concurrent projects and priorities
  • Takes ownership, responsibility, and pride for their deliverables with regards to schedule, budget, and quality
  • Quickly conforms to client’s drafting standards, practices, and norms

 

Skill Requirements

  •  Grading, drainage, and roads (Required)
  • Onshore pipeline experience (Alignment Plan and Profile, HDD Crossings, and Tie-In Details) (Required)
  • Offshore pipeline experience (Optional)
  • Pipeline risers on fixed structures (Optional)
  • Foundation / Reinforcement Modeling and Detailing
  • Pipe Rack / Pipe Support Modeling and Detailing
  • Structural Skid Modeling and Detailing
  • Access Platforms / Stairs / Ladders Modeling and Detailing
  • Onshore chemical plant experience
  • Water distribution for hydraulic fracking
  • Upstream / Midstream gas compression
  • Gas meter stations
  • Brownfield experience on offshore fixed structures (Optional)

 

Software Experience

  • Experienced in Autodesk Civil3D (2020+ preferred) (Required)
