About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager - PC21 Production Facility to support a major capital project within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

The Construction Manager will serve as the Owner's representative responsible for field construction oversight of the assigned Work Package Organization (WPO). This position provides leadership, governance, and assurance of construction activities performed by the Construction Management team and contractors, ensuring alignment with project safety, quality, schedule, turnover, and readiness objectives.

This is a full-time, onsite position requiring strong field leadership and extensive experience managing construction activities on large-scale capital projects.

Key Responsibilities Construction Oversight & Governance
  • Serve as the primary Owner-side field construction leader for the assigned PC21 scope.
  • Provide oversight of Construction Management and contractor execution activities across assigned work packages.
  • Monitor field progress, contractor performance, productivity, and construction quality.
  • Support implementation of project construction procedures, turnover strategies, and execution plans.
  • Ensure construction activities remain aligned with approved scope, safety requirements, schedule, and milestone commitments.
  • Identify field constraints and support timely resolution of construction issues.
Safety Leadership
  • Champion Owner HSE expectations and applicable project safety programs.
  • Participate in field safety walks, audits, contractor reviews, and incident investigations.
  • Verify contractor compliance with project safety requirements.
  • Promote proactive identification, communication, and mitigation of construction risks.
Construction Planning & Interface Management
  • Review contractor work plans, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans.
  • Coordinate interfaces between Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA), MEP, Utilities, Equipment, CQV, and Operations.
  • Escalate field constraints that may affect safety, quality, schedule, or turnover.
  • Facilitate Owner-side decisions required to maintain construction progress.
  • Coordinate construction sequencing to support equipment installation and startup objectives.
Quality, Turnover & CQV Readiness
  • Partner with Construction Quality Leads to support first-time-right execution.
  • Monitor readiness for mechanical completion and system turnover.
  • Support punch-list management and turnover planning.
  • Ensure construction execution supports efficient Commissioning, Qualification & Validation (CQV) activities.
PC21-Specific Responsibilities
  • Oversee construction activities associated with the PC21 production facility.
  • Coordinate interfaces between CSA, MEP, process installation, and equipment installation activities.
  • Support integration of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) warehouse into construction and turnover planning.
  • Monitor readiness of production areas, warehouse systems, cleanrooms, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Coordinate construction sequencing to support equipment installation, startup, and project milestones.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 15+ years of construction experience supporting large capital projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in Owner, EPCM, or Construction Management oversight environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety, quality, turnover, contractor management, and field execution.
  • Experience coordinating multiple construction disciplines and contractors.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, field-based project environment.
  • English required.
  • Spanish strongly preferred.
  • OSHA 30 preferred.
