The Big Picture
As part of the Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) team, the VDC Field and Survey Engineer reviews and
resolves discrepancies in construction drawings, takes the licensed surveyor points, establishes the building
layout from those points, and provides them to the Jacobsen survey team. VDC Field And Survey Engineer is
an integral part of the operations team, supporting and championing digital coordination and
documentation. Serves as a resource to one or more projects at any given time and develops working
relationships with owners, designers, subcontractors, and internal Jacobsen team members.
