Job description

Overview
As a Project Consultant for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Boston, MA office, you will work with project teams to create permitting and construction plans, municipal zoning and land development applications for our private and public sector clients. From port facilities to multi-family housing and distribution centers to retail shopping centers, you'll take part in designing site layouts and grading, erosion and sedimentation controls, storm water management facilities, and site utilities. You will work with Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers to execute projects, and you will have the opportunity to interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials. You will be a part of the project team that impacts the whole project - from conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening.
Applicants will have an option to sit in either our Raynham, MA or Peabody, MA office locations.

The pay range for this position is between $80,000 and $90,000. The hiring range posted is a good faith estimate of what Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. may reasonably offer for the role as outlined. Factors such as additional education and/or experience may influence the actual offering.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 2+ years of professional engineering experience
  • Engineering In Training (EIT) certification preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, or Storm Sewers a plus
  • Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills and work in a team setting
