Job description

Overview
As a Civil Engineer Project Manager (Land Development) for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Irvine, CA office, you will work with project teams to create land development plans for our commercial, institutional, and energy clients, among many others. From an urban redevelopment site, industrial complexes, to a new school project, you'll take part in designing site layouts, grading plans, storm water management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities. Interacting with clients, contractors, local government officials, you'll impact the whole project - from conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening. This position offers the opportunity for a developing practitioner to grow within a well-established firm, surrounded by licensed professionals, and carve a path for continued success.
The pay range for this position is between $120,000 - $200,000 based on experience and location (in addition, CEC offers overtime pay and other great benefits).
Qualifications
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering (Master's degree is a plus)
  • 5 + years' progressive engineering experience
  • Professional Engineering Registration (P.E.)
  • Demonstrated experince in computer modeling software such as: AutoCAD/Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HydraFlow
  • Ability to speak and write professionally
  • Adept at researching local codes / ordinances and jurisdictional requirements
  • Experience and knowledge of commercial real estate site design is a plus
