Sambatek, LLC is a professional services firm that specializes in civil engineering, planning, surveying, and environmental services. We serve public and private clients throughout the country with office locations in Minnesota, Texas, and North Carolina. We embrace challenging projects and work hard to help our clients find success.
Summary
We are seeking two engineering interns for Summer 2027! As an intern, you will gain valuable work experience in your field of study by working side by side with fellow Sambatek professionals. You'll work on current and real life projects within commercial land development- learning site design and the software we use.
  • Work Location: In office for maximum learning potential
  • Hours: Part-time 32 hours per week (Monday-Thursday)
  • Pay: Hourly with overtime rate of 1.5x base pay for all hours worked over 40 in a week (Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications)

Responsibilities
  • Provide team support in production of all project deliverables
  • Support colleagues in meeting project goals and deadlines
  • Train on applicable design software such as Civil 3D

Requirements
  • In progress Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (junior or senior status preferred)
  • Self-motivated with strong communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Skilled in managing multiple tasks with attention to detail, independently or collaboratively
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment
  • Ability to occasionally move equipment/objects weighing up to 10 pounds
