Cordoba Corporation, a leading civil engineering firm in CA, is hiring a Civil Engineer. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior engineers to support the planning and design stages of exciting transportation and civil engineering projects. You’ll prepare exhibits for circulation and deliverable packages, taking on a variety of assignments that require a proactive, can-do attitude. As you grow into the role, you’ll gain greater responsibility and coordinate with engineers, architects, and consultants. You’ll also work directly with project managers and lead engineers across disciplines, making a tangible impact on our innovative projects.   • Collaborates with other engineers, drafters, and designers to prepare the required design, specifications, and details for assigned projects  
  • Becomes familiar with applicable standards and codes for use in completing designs.  
  • Performs engineering work in connection with public works projects. 
  • Aids in the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and costs for the construction of streets, storm drains, parks, signals, buildings, and other capital improvement projects. 
  • Aids in the preparation of engineering reports. 
  • Coordinates quality review processes. 
  • Becomes familiar with reading construction plans, maps, and reports. 
  • Aids in the preparation of preliminary and final project cost estimates. 
  • Assists in field engineering and inspection as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering 
  • PE License in CA preferred, Engineer-In-Training Certificate for well qualified candidates will be considered.

  • Experience with Civil3D (Alignments, profiles, pipe networks, surfaces, cross sections, plan production) 
  • Familiar with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) environment 
  • Familiar with SharePoint  
  • Experience with Civil design, utility design, track design, and roadway design. 

Preferred: 

  • Master’s Degree in civil engineering (counts as one year of experience)
