We are committed to providing superior service and leaving things better than we found them.  Job Summary: The Project Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the planning, design, and execution of construction and industrial services projects. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of AIS Infrastructure's infrastructure projects. The Project Engineer must possess a strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and project management. They are also required to adhere to AIS Infrastructure's safety standards and protocols.Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.Work closely with Field Engineer to conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and assessments to evaluate project requirements and constraints.Prepare detailed engineering designs, specifications, and drawings.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure project requirements are met.Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.Work closely with Quality Control Manager and Safety Manager to ensure strict guidelines are adhered to.Requirements and Education:Minimum of 3 years of experience managing and assisting with management of civil construction and/or public infrastructure projects.Knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and project management.Familiarity with relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management software such as Procore, Primavera, Bluebeam, HCSS, and/or Trimble Viewpoint Vista, etc.Ability to track submittals and complete RFIs, REAs, CORs, and CTCs.Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.Technical knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.Ability to effectively communicate complex engineering concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to access secure facilities, including military bases, is not required for this particular project, but is required for many of our projects.Preferred Requirements and Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field highly preferred.Experience with quality control tasks on a heavy civil construction site.
