Position Summary

Parking Ambassadors are responsible for the successful venue guest parking experience, including processing cashless transactions, and validating pre-sold parking passes. The job also includes directing vehicles into parking stalls and through location roadways and parking lots associated with event guests at Civic Centre Parkade.

This role will pay a pay rate of $16.00-$18.00.

Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching.

This position will remain open until August 14, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Match the guest's parking pass and provide real-time guidance to the parking location.
  • Process cashless guest payments.
  • Direct vehicles on Arena campus roadways and through parking lots and to parking stalls.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inventory counts before and during events.ย 
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests and employees promptly and in a friendly manner.ย 
  • May perform other duties to ensure productive parking operations, including moving equipment such as traffic cones, barrels, delineators, movable signage, and barricades to ensure efficient operations.
  • Follow and comply with safety regulations and standards.
  • Provide basic parking lot upkeep, including sweeping and light litter removal.ย 
  • Perform other duties as needed to ensure productive operations, quality service, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • High school education or equivalent.ย 
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Must have one (1) year of previous experience.
  • Core customer communication skills.ย 
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player.ย 
  • Must have flexibility to work shifts on weekdays, weekday evenings, weekends, early mornings, and late nights and outdoors in all weather conditions.ย 
  • Experience working in the customer service industry is a plus.ย
