Job Summary

The IT Engineer IV โ€“ Cloud Platform Solutions is a seniorโ€‘level engineering role focused on driving enterprise cloud strategy, architecture, and platform enablement. This position combines handsโ€‘on engineering expertise with architecture leadership to build, scale, and optimize secure, resilient, and highโ€‘performing cloud environments across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud architecture and platform strategy aligned to enterprise goals.
  • Architect and deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions across AWS and/or Azure environments.
  • Drive cloud enablement through reusable infrastructure patterns, templates, and selfโ€‘service capabilities.
  • Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automated CI/CD pipelines to support modern DevOps practices.
  • Establish and enforce cloud governance standards, including policyโ€‘asโ€‘code, security controls, and compliance frameworks.
  • Partner with application, security, and architecture teams to support cloud migration strategies (rehost, refactor, replatform, rearchitect).
  • Implement and enhance observability practices, including monitoring, logging, and reliability engineering standards.
  • Drive cost optimization and FinOps practices, including cloud usage analysis and efficiency improvements.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams across the organization.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or enterprise architecture roles.
  • Strong expertise in AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
  • Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern application architectures.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert) preferred.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, and/or equivalent experience.
