Job description

DUTIES:
An appointed position working under the direction of the Public Works Director. This position is responsible for private development administration, planning, preliminary design, detailed design, scheduling, construction and maintenance of municipal development projects, creation and maintenance of design standards for development, and negotiation of development agreements. Provides engineering advice and assistance to all City departments in connection with the planning and execution of public works improvement programs and projects. This position plays a key role in land development, regulatory compliance, and plan review, ensuring that all projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations

QUALIFICATIONS:

Licenses/Certifications: A valid driver's license. Must be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Utah.

SALARY: Negotiable

SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week. M-TH, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Evenings, holidays and weekends may be required.
