Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Cloud & Citrix Engineer in Boca Raton, FL. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of enterprise Citrix virtual application and desktop solutions across hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Citrix technologies, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), VMware virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure platforms.
Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and support Citrix DaaS/CVAD solutions across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments
* Engineer and administer Citrix components including Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Citrix Cloud Connectors, Machine Creation Services (MCS), Provisioning Services (PVS), and Workspace
* Configure and support NetScaler/ADC solutions for secure remote access, load balancing, traffic management, and SSL/TLS services
* Administer VMware ESXi and vCenter environments supporting enterprise application and desktop workloads
* Support and optimize hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) platforms, including lifecycle management, capacity planning, and performance tuning
* Design and operate Google Compute Engine (GCE) workloads and integrate cloud services including networking, IAM, monitoring, and logging
* Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex infrastructure incidents spanning compute, storage, networking, identity, and virtualization layers
* Collaborate with architecture, security, cloud, and infrastructure teams to define standards and modernization roadmaps
* Develop and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, operational procedures, and support runbooks
* Provide technical mentorship and serve as an escalation point for junior engineers and support teams
* Participate in incident, change, and problem management processes
* Support maintenance windows, disaster recovery exercises, upgrades, patching, and on-call rotations
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience considered
* Significant experience engineering and supporting Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD/DaaS) in large enterprise environments
* Strong NetScaler/ADC administration and secure access architecture experience
* Experience managing hybrid infrastructure environments across on-premises and public cloud platforms
* Hands-on expertise with VMware ESXi and vCenter
* Experience supporting hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) environments
* Strong Google Cloud Platform experience, including GCE, networking, IAM, monitoring, and logging
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multiple infrastructure layers
* Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Citrix certifications such as CCP, CCE-V, or NetScaler certifications
* Google Cloud certifications including Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Network Engineer
* VMware VCP-DCV certification or equivalent
* Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, or Python
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
