Systems Engineer - Virtualization Engineer

Dynamic Work Schedule - This is 5 days on site a month in the same week then the remainder of the month is working from home. If your candidate is not open to this please tell them they will not be considered. Fidelity determines the week they are working onsite, not the candidate.

The Role

The Virtualization Engineer is a core member of a multi-disciplinary engineering team within Associate IT on delivery of End User Computing products and services that include Hardware, Operating Systems, Core Applications, Core Infrastructure, Desktop, Application and User State Virtualization, Enterprise Software Deployment and Software Release Management with specific focus on products and solutions centered on virtualization (Desktop, Application, and User). If you have the experience and expertise with a passion for End User Computing, a career in Systems Engineering at Fidelity may be right for you!

The Expertise and Skills You Bring (The order of these bullets does not matter)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of detailed systems engineering experience including the planning, engineering, design & delivery of enterprise systems.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in information technology
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft's enterprise platform / products
  • Desktop Virtualization: Azure Compute, Citrix XenDesktop / XenApp, VMware ESX
  • OS Platform: Windows 10 and Image Management processes
  • Identity / Security Fundamentals
  • Networking / Data Center Fundamentals
  • Automation / Scripting: PowerShell, Python, C#
