About the Facility

This inpatient facility in Wisconsin maintains established clinical protocols and the infrastructure necessary to support cardiovascular disease management on an on-site basis. The facility is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians providing day shift and overnight call coverage. Clinical resources are in place to facilitate effective cardiovascular care delivery throughout the assignment.

About the Facility Location

Wisconsin offers a range of outdoor and nature-based activities suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment may enjoy kayaking, scenic boat tours, hiking, fishing, and water skiing, as well as access to state parks, waterfalls, and wildlife areas. The region also supports guided naturalist hikes, archery camps, citizen science programs, farmers markets, and live music events at local venues throughout the state.

About the Clinician's Workday

Clinicians will provide inpatient cardiovascular disease management during day shift hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overnight call coverage from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM at a 1:4 call ratio. Clinical responsibilities include inpatient rounding, cardiovascular consultations, and management of approximately 12 patients per day. Board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases is required for consideration. Support is provided by a team of 7 MDs, 3 NP/PAs, and hospital nursing staff throughout the coverage period.
