Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
Coverage Area: Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley
About the Position
Citadel Security USA is seeking dependable individuals to join our team as Full-Time Mobile Patrol Officers. This role supports multiple commercial properties throughout Northern Colorado and involves conducting scheduled patrols, inspecting sites, and reporting security concerns.
Officers spend a significant portion of their shift operating a patrol vehicle and traveling between locations. Successful candidates are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining consistent communication with supervisors and dispatch personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Property Patrol & Site Inspections
  • Conduct scheduled vehicle patrols across assigned client locations
  • Perform routine inspections of building exteriors, parking lots, gates, fences, and access points
  • Check doors, entryways, and restricted areas to verify they are properly secured
  • Monitor property conditions and identify maintenance, safety, or security concerns

Security Monitoring
  • Observe for unauthorized individuals, suspicious activity, vandalism, or trespassing
  • Report hazards, property damage, and unusual conditions promptly
  • Maintain a visible security presence to support deterrence efforts
  • Respond appropriately to onsite situations in accordance with post instructions

Documentation & Communication
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation accurately
  • Record patrol findings using company reporting procedures
  • Maintain regular communication with supervisors and dispatch personnel
  • Provide timely updates regarding incidents, emergencies, or operational concerns

Vehicle Operations
  • Safely operate company patrol vehicles throughout the assigned territory
  • Follow all traffic regulations and company driving standards
  • Maintain awareness of patrol routes and assigned responsibilities throughout the shift

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Strong observation and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working overnight shifts on a consistent basis

Preferred Experience
  • Previous security, patrol, loss prevention, or related field experience
  • Experience working in commercial or industrial environments
  • Familiarity with electronic reporting systems and mobile applications
  • Knowledge of access control and property inspection procedures
