Position Summary
Citadel Security USA is seeking a flexible and professional Armed Security Officer to support security operations at a government-related facility in Eagle, Colorado. This position provides supplemental staffing coverage and is intended for individuals who can adapt to changing schedules and operational needs.
The successful candidate will contribute to a secure and orderly environment by monitoring facility access, maintaining awareness of daily activity, and interacting professionally with visitors, staff members, contractors, and public officials.
Because this role fills staffing gaps and special coverage needs, schedule flexibility and reliability are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Protection & Access Monitoring
  • Maintain a professional armed security presence throughout assigned areas
  • Observe public entrances, controlled-access locations, and interior common spaces
  • Verify identification credentials and confirm authorization before granting access
  • Help ensure compliance with established building security procedures
  • Monitor visitor activity and direct individuals to appropriate locations when necessary
Security Operations
  • Conduct routine security observations throughout designated sections of the facility
  • Identify and report unusual activity, policy violations, or potential security concerns
  • Assist with maintaining a safe atmosphere for employees and visitors
  • Respond to incidents according to site directives and company procedures
  • Remain attentive to changing conditions within high-traffic public areas
Documentation & Communication
  • Prepare detailed activity logs and incident documentation
  • Record operational concerns, observations, and security-related events accurately
  • Maintain regular communication with supervisors and designated site representatives
