ABOUT THE ROLE
Citadel CPM is in search of highly experienced Construction Manager/Resident Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will manage wastewater projects and oversee the quality assurance of the construction project. You will be the main point of contact between the client and project management team and lead the project to effectively administer the construction contract.


ABOUT YOU
You are a professional with minimum of 10 years full-time paid experience as a Construction Manager/Resident Engineer. Experience managing all trades for municipal/water projects. You have experience in electrical/mechanical engineering, contract administration, facilities construction from the ground up.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to manage complex, technical engineering construction projects in wastewater/civil/mechanical/electrical/I&C).
  • Lead project team in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost control, schedule control, change and risk management, and performance.
  • Facilitate all communications between the Contractor, Owner, Project Design Engineer, and the Program Manager.
  • Participate in the review and evaluation of contractor claims and change order proposals.
  • Lead project meetings with contractor and stakeholders and effectively deliver results in a timely manner.
  • Ability to identify potential or actual problems on the construction schedule, performance/quality of work and take actions as necessary to mitigate, correct or resolve issues.
  • Track job progress and document all aspects of the daily performance of work.
  • Coordinate all Contractor requests for outages, road closures, work permits or other activities impacting the project.
  • Monitor Contractor's compliance with environmental requirements for control of storm water and airborne emissions/particulate matter throughout the course of construction.
  • Oversee final inspections, preparation of punch list and final determination of completion of project.
  • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external contacts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 10-15 years full time paid professional experience managing Wastewater/Municipal construction projects.
  • Experience with installation and startup of large wastewater pumps, associated electrical and controls equipment systems.


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in Engineering.


PREFERRED LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES

  • A valid Certified Professional Engineer (CPE) registration or a Professional Engineer (PE) Certification preferred.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, licenses, skill set, experience and/or performance. Base pay is only one component of Citadel's total compensation packages for employees.


Pay range for the Construction Manager/Resident Engineer is $150,000 - $170,000 salary per year.
