Job description

Local, permanent residents only. No third-party agencies. 

We are seeking a Network Segmentation Engineer with strong Cisco Firepower and NGFW experience to support a server segmentation engagement. This role will help migrate the environment from a flat network to a Layer 3 segmented server farm, with responsibility for planning, implementation support, validation, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

·         Assess the current server and network environment, including routing, VLANs, dependencies, and segmentation requirements.

·         Define the target-state Layer 3 segmentation design and develop an implementation runbook.

·         Support implementation during approved change windows and validate connectivity and application behavior after changes.

·         Coordinate with Server, Network, and Security teams throughout the engagement.

·         Deliver updated documentation and knowledge transfer at project close.
